The carb probably needs setup correctly. if there are no other problems, you need to check the idle speed solenoid functionality before doing so. Also make sure the choke is opening up, after it is warm from driving take the air filter cover off and see if the choke plates are open. You will recognise them as being on the very top and will be able to see into the carb if they are open. If you have a 4bbl only the front plates open.

How do you adjust the carburetor on my 83 buick regal limited 4.1L-v6

There should be an idle control motor on the side of the carb. The computer controls idle speed by moving the stop on that control motor. The stop is adjustable and there may also be a base idle adjusting screw near the control motor.

I installed a holley 4 barrel carburetor in my 1983 buick regal , but it starts fine but won't idle ?

Check your vacuum hoses. Holley aftermarket may not have as many vacuum ports as OEM QuadraJets, and you may have a vacuum line that isn't plugged into anything...or you may have a vacuum leak around the carb base gasket. Also, does the Holley have an electric or manual choke? Is it connected?

Not sure if I am following your question.
Is the battery charged up when you first start the engine ?
Does the engine crank but not start the second time, or not crank ?
What happens if you let it sit for an hour ?

Just got a new battery for my 1983 buick regal with 350 motor an it will start good once then wont start again for about an hour or two

You may have bad teeth on your starter or the solenoid may just be going bad. It is also possible you bought a defective battery, may have bad cells.

Gas hand stop working in my 1983 Buick Regal....

This problem is caused by a defective gas gauge sending unit (senses the level of the fuel in the gas tank), the gas gauge sending unit is located inside the gas tank, the gas tank must be removed to replace the gas gauge sending unit.

1983 Buick LeSabre Wagon, cuts out driving down the road

Find the EGR valve on the intake and locate the vacuum hose that is connected to it. Start the engine cold and as it warms up, pull the hose off and if it idles and drives fine, the EGR valve is bad and needs to be replaced. Please rate me on this answer.

1983 Buick Regal drivers rear window is stuck in down position. Is there a way to manually move it up without replacement of motor/switch?

You would probably need to remove the motor from the regulator, pull the window up by hand, then reattach the motor to keep it locked in the up position.

check the detent cable(kickdown) that runs from your transmission to your carb linkage. you'll need to "set" it by pressing the "D" shaped button n the bracket and pull the sheath back towards the bracket. turn your carb linkage to wide open throttle 1 time and your set. hope this helps....
