How do I put in a new corner light on the drivers side of a 1996 Nissan Sentra GXE

The 1996 Sentra sedan is available in four models - (Base) Sentra, XE, GXE and GLE. The Sentra remaines unchanged. The Sentra features minor updated interior and exterior styling. take outr the right brake light bulb and see if all the other lights start working. if so look at the bottom of the bulb and the socket it goes into and see if it looks the same as the left side. sound slike you have a bulb that has the 2 nips on the bottom out it melted. togher. or the bulb is just shortled

there should be a cover on both sides of the boot and you twist the housing of and take old bulb out and put new one in

According to the manual of my 1996 Sentra XE, the order is 1-3-4-2. Should be the same for GXE.

check spark plugs

the starter is located under the intake. also the fact that the radio plays doesn't mean batt is good.

do you have the right light bulb? i own a 98 sentre and
it takes a 9004 bulb, but walmarts computer said to use 9007. That made the high beam censor stay on till i replaced it. if you look at the bulb you can tell if it is a dual or single beam bulb.!!!!

I switched one of the new bulbs with a working older bulb, and the problem went away. weird...
