Instument cluster, ignitions are also coded to computers , and also you need as well to match up part numbers for engine ECU as they are all vehicle specific to engines and and make sure you have an Auto ECU or manual ECU

Research it , i just did , people sell you this stuff however they dont tell you the whole story , instrument cluster is coded to the ECU as well , and without the instrument cluster for that ECU car will not start , you can either contact person who sold you that kit ask them for the instrument cluster , or get your money back and look for someone wrecking a car i prefer people privatley wrecking you get awesome deals , get ECU , BCM , KEYS , ,ALL DOOR LOCKS , IGNITION , INSTUMENT CLUSTER , or take car to your dealer get them to origram instrument cluster to the ECU you gave which sonetimes is actually not possible and they will charge you loads of money to do even if they fail , i have been there and done that with your problem

Only the dealer can fix the Security light, nobody else,
some pro shops can and are rare,
that LIGHT glowing does no LIE to you.
the parts are all married together + key and all.
you can not just change them willly-nilllY, that will not work.

how old is that scan took if not CAN bus rated, it will be useless on newer cars, ( "CAN BUS") networked. best is tool 2007 or newer, never use old tools that fail. oK.

This is a bad PCM. Try to disconnect the security system first and if it still does not start then it is the PCM.

SOURCE: security light comes on.

Sounds like your ignition switch is faulty. Not the key switch. The ignition switch itsel is at the lower end of steering column. Good luck.

i would say its wear and tear, you can kill a clutch in a day if your hard on it,,,or it could take 150,000 miles,,suzuki will classify that as a wear and tear item,,they are really tight with that stuff,

The key was dropped and wont start the the car but unlocks the doors

The chip in the key is not activating the transponder. If the car is under 10 years old a dealer can make a key by the VIN number

System security

If you have a visible chip on the shaft of the key you probably need to change the lock cylinder. If there is no visible chip in the shaft of the key but you have a large plastic head on your key, you probably need a new lock cylinder halo ring.

Security Issue

Usually the flashing security light means the computer is not finding the right code in the key chip.
Is the key you are using programmed to the vehicle ?

Sometimes when i unlock car wont start security

This MAY be a problem with the bcm (Body Control Mod) This electronic part controls these things, Cost about $110.00 But the kicker is you have to find someone with a Tech computer that can Flash it with your cars ser # and Code, try to find one in junk yard (cost / plus is it any better than the one you have, is a gamble). Check the web for info on your bcm problem, It is loacted under the dash up top kind of hard to get to.

I believe that yor key has a chip installed in it. your BCM will have to be programmed by the dealer.
