Probably bad spark plugs, wires or ignition coil. Also cylinder number one spark plug is prone to cracking. If you cant isolate a cylinder pull each plug out and inspect for carbon tracking or plugs worn. Recommend using AC Delco original equipment replacement spark plugs.

Some GM products also incorporate the oil sender switch into that circuit for fuel pump, so that in case of an accident, engine shuts off, oil pressure drops, in turn, shuts off power to fuel pump. May be worth a look at what your getting for oil pressure, as well as checking switch/sender.

do you have any check engine lights on? If you do, that is the first thing I would have checked. It does sound like plugged EGR, vacuum leak, or bad TPS

I have a 94 bonneville, and it always stalls after driving for a few minutes.it also surges while driveing rpms up and down can't figure this problem out. I have a new fuel pump and filter new crankshaft...

Usually, a map sensor and an idle control sensor can cause the rpms to jump. I had a bad map sensor and it did this. It also would die every now and then. Check your fuel pressure and make sure it is correct. It may be a fuel issue. If your check engine light is on, get it scanned at an auto part store. This may be your best bet. If not, I would look into the sensors. If you have a question, let me know. I am here to help you.

make sure your sending and return lines are correctly placed on the new pump that could be your issue of not sending gas to and from your pump.

I have a 2004 Chevy Impala it has poer at the fuel pump fuse and fuse looks good but no power at fuel pump. is there a fuel pump relay switch or what could it be?

First make a set of jumper wires and jump the pump from the battery and see if it works. If it runs its the relay or the ECU,or the ignition switch.
Remove the relay and test it for B+. Then jump the terminals and see if the pump runs. If pump runs and you got B+ up to this point its the relay.
However,if no B+ at the relay means ECU not giving relay the turn on signal..
While wearing a ground wrist strap check out ECU Grounds and B+ wires for continuity from Ignition switch and other areas of interest (use shop manual)
either the switch is not telling ecu to send message to relay to turn on the pump or someone in this circuit has gone bad.

Bucking engine

Check the fuel pressure, also change the fuel filter.check the crankshaft sensor,or replace. It sounds more like the tps sensor(throttle position sensor). It is mounted in line with the throttle axle,on the throttle horn.Of course .with out being there and checking I am just guessing. But map sensor or mass air flow sensor could also cause this.Have you checked the air filter? This will cause the problem,if it is stopped up restricting air flow to engine and mass air flow.,map sensor, and vacuums needed to run the car.If I can help, let me know.

Over fueling

Did you replace fuel filter...? If the filters all clogged up it wont matter if you changed the fuel pump cause it will burn the new one out also... Plus you use Sunnoco gas dont you??? Let me know about that and tell me if you changed fuel filter if not do that real quick.

Thanks,
Steve
