Rover 75 Tourer. How can I get live wire to diagnostic port on it please?

The power to the OBD Port should be permanently live. Have you checked fuses? Have you had a battery disconnect recently which has caused the engine immobilizer to be activated.

I have a Rover 75 MG zt t cdti 2L BMW engine it has started with the compression on one of the pots going back into the inlet manifold told it was dirt in valve is there an easy fix

Rover 75 faults problems

hi
if it has the Honda engine...replace the distributor assy complete.
If its the Rover engine...remove and clean the throttle body . Note that this task will need compressed air and special throttle bidy cleaner...dont damage the surface of the metal.

Engine warning light

your local parts store can hook it up to a scanner and it will tell you exactly why the light is on and they can turn the light off all normally free of charge

Trying to remove the rear light unit from a Rover 75 Tourer. I have removed the two retaining screws but it still wont come away. I'm worried about breaking something if I pull too hard

The seal around the light is vulcanized to the sheet metal, gently pry it out.

With the trunk open, look along the side of the lens assembly and you should see some screws, remove those and you can pull the assembly out. Then twist the sockets on the back of the assembly to free the bulbs
