I don't think the 1995 pump will work with the 2000 Jimmy. GM made numerous changes to the vehicle fuel injection system from the fuel pump in the tank to the engine itself, and the numerous sensors and ever-more-complex emissions garbage the EPA has mandated with each new model year. Years ago, there was more interchangeability among different year models. Those days are largely gone. Many vehicle models make mid-year changes that render early and later models of the same year substantially different, so that the correct parts must be procured using the exact, very specific production VIN number, not just the general "year, make and model", as could be done some years ago. I'd stick with the same year, and make sure you learn and know what emissions specification/design your vehicle is..."California" or "Federal" emissions-certified and spec'd. Otherwise, vehicle performance and proper parts fit can and will be adversely affected. It's not worth the headaches or cost!

depending on if the jimmy is 2 door or 4 door you have 2 different numbers which are MU 263 for a 2 door and MU 85 for a 4 door, and the number for the blazer is 25163473. And there is a large difference in price 183.00 for the blazer and 500.00 for the jimmy. **** the short answer is they probably won't exchange. Note: the prices above are AC DELCO OEM (dealer pricing)

Yeah, we are hoping on not having to buy a brand new one if we can help it, but thanks for the information, you helped a bunch.

That depends on the engine and fuel system. For example, throttle body runs around 12 PSI as where fuel injection (Injectors on each cylinder) can run up to 40 PSI. Run the pump that fits your vehicle!
