My Ford Freestar had a mouse nest in the airconditioner. Had it removes and the back bumper vents plugged. Have another dead mouse. How are they getting in? How do you remove the door panels to find them?

Unfortunately, they could be getting into your vehicle any number of ways since they can chew through pretty much anything...

For the door panels, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge.

Need to replace spark plugs on a 2005 Ford Freestar mini van, not sure how to get to back spark plugs #1, 2, &6 how do I get to them.

You have a coil on plug or COP. to get to it you'll need a 1/4 drive extension.with a swivel socket and a 7mm socket youll just have manuver your way in , now if anything is in the way and your confident of removing what is the way you will suceed in removing the COP which allows you to remove the sparkplugs.

Does anyone know if the back window and liftgate to a 2003 Ford Windstar will fit on a 2004 Ford Freestar, since they are basically the same body style?

The Liftgates between the two models will not interchange, small changes made to the rear bumpers and body lines make it impossible for the switch to happen, even if you attempted to swap bumpers (not recomended) the body lines won't line up and you will have a larger headache than I assume you have already.

I would remove the heater fan and clean out the mouse nest. They probably climbed into the system through the outside vent.

Mouse nest in airconditioner

Common issue. Remove the heater fan, and extract the rodent nest. There is really no way to prevent this from reoccurring.
