Open the right/rear door. Pull the rubber weatherstrip back from the door opening. Fold the right/rear seat back down into a locked position, in order to access to the right/rear trim panel. Carefully, pry the right/rear upper trim panel housing the right/rear seat belt height adjuster. Now carefully pry back the lower trim panel taking care now to break it, exposing the vehicle security module with three connectors plugged into it, coloured green, blue, and grey. Look on the label that has the part number which should end in EB. There are FIVE numbers to the right of that number. Those five numbers are your keyless entry keypad code.

This worked on my 2005 Lincoln Aviator. This was the 8th Lincoln product we've purchased as an off-lease auto from our local Lincoln Dealership. We purchased this particular Lincoln 4 years ago. At that time, the white card was not in the owners manual and the dealership said that the only way they could get the code was by putting it on the factory computer....which would cost about $100. I chose not to waste the money. Now, 4 years later, I have the code....just when I'm about to trade. I wished I would have thought to Google this question before now. Thanks for the information!

This just worked perfectly on my 03 Aviator, thanks! Note: Don't go crazy trying to read the mini numbers on the little 1.5" box. The number is in huge 1/2 inch size on a 3x3 white sticker mounted on a big black box!

Locked my keys in my 2003 lincoln aviator and forgot the keyless entry code is there anyway I can get in without calling a locksmith

You might be able to get the code from the dealer if it is the original code. You will need to prove ownership in person.

I bought a 2004 Lincoln Aviator but the dealership doesnt have the manual for it nor the key code to unlock the doors? how can I get it or reset it and change it?

Open the right/rear door. Pull the rubber weatherstrip back from the door opening. Fold the right/rear seatback down into a locked position, in order to facilitate access to the right/rear trim panel. Carefully, pry the right/rear upper trim panel housing the right/rear seat belt height adjuster. Now carefully pry back the lower trim panel taking care now to break it, exposing the vehicle security module with three connectors plugged into it, coloured green, blue, and grey. Look on the label that has the part number 4L2T-15K602-EB. There are FIVE numbers to the right of that number. Those five numbers are your keyless entry keypad code. Hope this helps.

I have never had to search for the module as they are a reliable component. But this does make sense to me.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Bought a 1989 Lincoln Town care. don't know the code for the keyless entry or how to change it

A little secret to finding the code for keypad. Open the trunk. There should be a sticker on one of the trunk hinge arms with numbers on it. If you locate that sticker, there is the code for the keypad.

I don't have a manual for my 2004 lincoln Avaitor but would like to know how I can change the code on the drives door key pad

KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM With the keyless entry keypad, you can: • lock or unlock the vehicle doors without using the key. Your vehicle has a factory set 5 digit code that operates the keyless entry system. You can also program your own 5 digit personal entry code. The factory-set code is located: • on the owner's wallet card in the glove compartment • or at your dealer. When pressing the controls on the keyless entry keypad, press the middle of the controls to ensure a good activation. This system will disable the power door lock controls. These will not work until the vehicle is disarmed. Programming your own personal entry code To program your own code: 5. Enter factory set code (keypad will illuminate when pressed). 6. Press 1/2 control within five seconds of step 1. 7. Enter your personal 5 digit code. Enter each digit within five seconds of previous one. 8. After the code is entered, the locks will cycle, confirming that the new code has been set. Do not set a code that includes five of the same number or presents them in sequential order. Thieves can easily figure out these types of codes. Your personal code does not replace the permanent code that the dealership gave you. You can use either code to unlock your vehicle. If a second personal code is entered, the module will erase the first personal code in favor of the new code. Locks and Security 149 Locks and Security If you wish to erase your personal code, use the following instructions: 1. Enter factory set code. 2. Press 1/2 control and release. The system will now only respond to the factory set code. Anti-scan feature The anti-scan feature prevents repeated attempts at arriving at a valid key code. The keyless entry pad is disabled for 1 minute after 7 unsuccessful attempts (35 consecutive button presses) at entering a valid key code. The keypad will flash during this 1 minute mode. However, the 7/8 and 9/0 controls will still lock the vehicle. Anti-scan will be turned off after: • one minute of keypad inactivity. • the remote entry transmitter UNLOCK button is pressed. • the ignition is turned to the ON position. Unlocking the doors with the keyless entry system To unlock the driver door, enter either the factory set code or the personal code (each digit must be pressed within five seconds of the prior digit). The interior lamps will also illuminate. To unlock all doors, enter the factory set code or personal code (driver door unlocks) and press the 3/4 control within five seconds. Locking the doors with the keyless entry system It is not necessary to enter the factory or personal code prior to locking all doors. To lock the doors: • with the driver's door closed, press the 7/8 control and the 9/0 control at the same time.

I PURCHASED THIS 2004 AVIATOR USED WITH NO KEYLESS ENTRY CODE.

the keyless code is by the right rear door panel. open the door, remove the panel that's over the the seatbelt. after doing that open but you don't have just kind of stretch out and their you will find a black box or reciever with a sticker and a 5 digit code stamped on it. if you want to change the passcode refer to your manual, but you'll need the original code to be able to change it.
