2000 pontiac grand prix gt air conditioner keeps running after turning the car off, what would cause that? i pulled the fuses and they were good.

- the blower fan, i had to pull out the fuse to stop it from draining the battery.

what keeps running? the blower fan, or the compressor clutch stays energized or both?and it drains the battery

there is a module beside the blower motor under glovebox. this module control fan motor. when these control modules fail one of the issues is that the motor will stay on when ignition is turned off. most common on automatic heating systems.
