1998 BMW 740i - I had a brake light out, replaced it, it won't

I had a brake light out on the passanger side of my 1998 BMW 740i, replaced it, it still wouldn't work and the bulb was bad, and now the rear lights/back up lights won't either...moved sockets and bulbs from one side of the car to the other and they worked on the otherside...so then I checked the fuses, all fuses looked good, but now no back up/brake/rear lights on either side - the brake light in the window works...any ideas?
