Mitsibishi Montero sport GLS 2010 model, auto Transmission hard to shift to Drive gear, even new change transmission oil

Either a bad motor mount shifting the engine harshly during high idle, or the transmission High pressure valve is sticking on to long. (it burps out air from sitting for a second, then reverts to lower pressure)

2000 diamonte tranny stuck in second gear and flashing drive light

Look under dash in the center area behind the ac controller. See if there is green coolant residue in there. Heater Orings regularly leak onto transmission power switching relay, disabling the transmission computer, causing vehicle to lock into safe mode.

Repair requires removing dash to access orings and replace.
You will also need to replace your Auto trans power switching relay.

Im replacing timing belt, accessory belts and water pump on my hyundai elantra gls 1997 sta wgn auto transmission. (1)Where is bolt to drain engine block coolant?(2)After removing front engine mountin

(1) No need to know if engine block coolant drain plug was available. Once the water pump was removed, all engine block coolant was drained. (2) After removing the three engine mounting bracket bolts, I also removed the mount bracket from the the body and made enough room to replace the timing belt easier.

Sounds like you maybe having a sensor failure (engine). A computer diagnostic can be performed at the vehicle dealership to determine what caused the fail safe mode to activate.
