Your going to have to put freon where you always put it in 2 times a month if that doesn't work your going to have to get a new air conditioning unit there is one more try shutting the flaps on the passenger seat then it will get cooler on your side

Can a 2002 ac compressor go on to a 2003 kia sedona?

As long as they have the same part number there should be no issue. Sometimes the same part is used for four or five years consecutively. Check the part number and appearance.

My 2002 kia sedona won't idle until warms up, dies when put into gear ...any ideas??

Is the check engine light on? you could have a bad ignition fail sensor, TPS sensor, or bad o2 sensor. it could also be a bad mass air flow sensor or a vacuum leak. without a code to help pin point the problem I'd start by checking those things first. Maybe try unplugging the mass airflow sensor and start it up and see if anything changes.

My compressor on my 2002 sedona is not kicking on. I am not low on freon, could you please help with a solution? Thanks

if the temp sensor is sending a sinal that the vehicle is overheating it will not allow the compressor to kick in. this is one possibility. check your owners manuel under a/c to see if there are any other conditions that might do the same .driving long steep grades ,and sitting on the freeway can cause overheating also, when you use your a/c it puts an additional load on your engine. also check your battery a week batery/alternater can have the same effect

How do I fix a Air condition blow out hot air?

Go to your local auto parts purchase a a/c charge kit for about $69.00, find the low pressure(suction) fill port, there are two ports in every a/c system one is a low pressure side used primarily to fill a system with freon 123a or the like and it is the larger valve mounted on the line, then there is the dangerous high side valve, this is a smaller diameter valve mounted to a smaller diamet a/c line, this is under extreme pressure so donot attempt to fill this high side with freon as it can backfire on you and cause injury.
The low side fill kit will not fit on the high side port so thank godness for that.
start the vehicle put the a/c on full cold high blow fan speed, start filling the low side with a can of 123a freon+oil additive, which equals one pound of freon and check the inside a/c vents, getting cold? If its perfect then you are done, the system may have a very small slow leak and if it only takes a one pound can to fill it once or twice a year you are ok, if it takes more you may want to add a second pound can of freon 134a containing a dye additive that will work its way into the system and show you where the leaks are by exposing a color once it hits the air coming out of the systems defective seals etc.,also they sell a sealer + freon one pound can that can be used to try to fix the leak without having to get too expensive on the repairs.
A car's air conditioning system only hold like 2 3/4 pounds of freon, so in the event you happen to over fill the system a high pressure blow valve usually mounted on the a/c compressor will purge off the excess, but let me warn you they blow off without any warning and can startle you. Always think safety first, wear protective equipment. Work Smart, Work Safe.
Happy Motoring!!!

Air conditioning is bad

Early use of the new type freon - kills those old seals quickly.
You may have a cracked O ring seal in the high pressure side of your air conditioning system. Have it checked with a leak detector... that should tell which seal is leaking.

Air conditioning blowing hot on 2002 buick lesabre ltd

Could be a number of possibilities. However, the most likely is loss of freon. The O-ring seals at a number of line connections tend to leak over time. There are other mechanical and electrical possibilities but you should first have someone check the freon charge with a set of gauges to measure the pressures. It might cost you a bit to have it tested but the pressure reading will tell you a LOT of things. In the long run it will save you money over guess-work.
