Are u talking about window regulator cables that the motor uses to roll the window up and down? because the window regulator dose not have serviceable parts in it. the cable will come unwound and it looks as if a person could rewind it. but u cant. you must replace the assembly

find the window motor and jump the switch with a 12volt power supply directly at the motor. if that dont work then disconect the motor and manually pull window up then use duct tape to hold it closed but you must disconect the motor for window to move

Driver door power window runs window doesnt move

I think it's cable driven from window motor. Try to have a look behind the panel and see. here is a link with pic of the part so you know what you are looking for. it's a rather common problem.

Fuel line after the filter towards the engine has rusted and leaks on 2004 buick rendezvous. How do I go about fixing this? It has the 3.4L v6 CXL model

well if thats a sure thing all you need to do is buy the part from dealer or aftermarket, then relieve the fuel pressure by pressing the little valve that looks like a tire valve stem on the fuel rail which will release fuel pressure, disconect negitive battery terminal, and then all you need to do is remove old line and replace with new line, you will need some fuel line disconect tools which can be purchased, this is the best pic, the release valve is on the fuel rail there and ou take the cap off and press on valve nissankid88.gif

Change Power Windows motor 2000 Dodge Neon

you will have to remove the interior door trim to gain access to the inside of the door.
i am not sure of the setup in your door but if it is cable driven you may have to replace the whole winder mechanism as I think they come as a unit.
If it is pop riveted to the door panel you will have to drill the rivets out and replace with new ones
Have a good look or take a pic at how it is mounted b4 you start pulling it down

How do I install window regulator/motor?

to replace window motor,....
take off door panel, disconect wires for power window controlls pull back plastic that covers door, if you have a feel around inside the door you will find the motor,
its on a chain like device, take that off motor, disconect wire that goes to motor.
on the inside of the door panel there will be the bolts to take off the motor, undo these and your motor is out,

2003 Stratus power window

Most of the time the regulator has to be replaced. if you take the door apart and take a good look at the regulator you will probably find a broken guide or fraid cable... something broken to make the cable jump off. (you may get lucky and be able to fix the old regulator...but in all the years i've been doing these i've only seen one that i was able to fix and not have to replace the regulator) Sorry I don't have a good pic of this regulator you can check with the dealer or local glass shop for an aftermarket or www.directauto.com
hope this helps
