Wire brush the discs to remove most of the rust then the brake pads will clean the rest the more you brake.

Bear tracker squealing noise when trying to start after running it goes away help please it sat for a year before got rear end fixed

Joe, do you mean a bearing track?
If so, a bearing -or track - usually makes a grinding or knocking noise, not a squealing noise.

If a car stands for a long time the brake rotors can corrode a bit and the pads can stick. Sometimes, when the car is first used after standing, you may hear a rubbing or squealing noise from the wheel. That's the pads sticking to a rusty rotor. The noise may wear off after a few miles when the pads 'polish' the corrosion off the rotor.

The other thing that causes squealing from a wheel are the brake shims. Try cleaning things first.

Why does my mercury make a grinding sound when i drive from stand still?

wow that can be a lot of things but ill go for the most logical you have a caliper hanging up in the brakes ,rusty rotor, backing plate on a wheel tuching rotor. that's my best guess if you have more info ill be glad to help

I have envoy brakes are realy noise

When you step on the brakes, the pads vibrate. It may be you didn't put the little gaskets, or anti-squall stuff on the BACK of the pads.
If your "kit" didn't include it, get some copper lube and apply to the back of the pads.
I know, means you have to pull the pads but it's either that or live with the noise.
Have fun:

When i drive over 50k(australia) my front drivers wheel sqeaks and it does it too occasionally when i break. been happening for over 2 months so i rule out that its dirt in the breaks. what could it be...

wow first post ever for country, im GOBSMACKED !!!!
wheel ?steering wheel or tire/wheel.?

hard to find, they are, all squeaks.
first is to see if possible to do, no moving (big safety issue, yes)
bounce the corners of car hard, by hand.?
jack car up spin tires. by hand,
lever them below off ground, to see of balls are shot.
inspections here, look at every inch of suspenson and parts.

Brakes, i hope nothing breaks the brakes.
The brakes all squeak this is normal try lightly pressing the brake pedal, gently while moving slow, squeaking now is 100% normal and harmless. (the pads act like Guitar strings)
Use pad glue to halt it, or ignore it like me....
the pads have wear markers, they have this device that makes noise when pads get too thin, (look at em)
bad wheel bearings.
brake backing plate bent.
caliper guide pins rusted.
and lots of other things bad or just ok , old and making noise, like
suspension "A" arm bushing rusty, or stable bar , same.

moving noise is real hard to find.

My 2009 Toyota RAV4 (4WD) had been sitting in garage for about 3 weeks. Started fine but didn't want to move forward or back and then the electronic stability light would flash after a couple of seconds....

sounds like the handbrake had stuck on.
the brake shoes can bind if the handbrake is left on and this is probably the clunk noise.
you are almost certainly right about the "cleaning themselves"
if you look at the disk surface after a few weeks parked up you will probably see it is a little "rusty" .

if you are leaving a car for more than a week or so, you should release the handbrake first.
either leave it in park as this will lock the gearbox rather than the wheels, or chock the wheels.
that way the pads will not bind to the disks/drums. you may still have the grinding noise as the light rust on the surface is removed.

2006 Dodge Neon makes a loud noise when I brake.

Neons are known to have brake noise esspecially from the rear. Try driving while holding the parking brake up for a while. Dont do it for to long but just enough to clear all the rust out of the drums. I work at a dealer and that has fixed countless noise complaints. However, if its more of a howling noise it make be one of the rear wheel bearings.

Brakes

It sounds like the rotor (brake disk) is warped. That would cause the pads to wear much more quickly because the disk "wobbles".
The warped disk can also cause the noise, depending on how bad the warp is.
When most shops change pads, they usually recommend that you "turn" the rotors, it is a way of truing the disk.
