Question about 2002 Volkswagen Jetta TDI
You need to get an OBD codes reading done to be certain of the exact
problem. Assuming that the ABS light is NOT also coming on and from
what you describe it seems that you may have a stability
problem...hense the ESP light showing. If code scan shows a fault "yaw
sensor malfunction"....Try disconnecting this sensor for a few seconds
and then re-connect. This sensor is prone to giving trouble and
is bolted to the floor on the car...under the rear seat.
Hope this is of some help to you
Best of luck with it
