Ok, so just get the timing from the label under the hood on the white label and then use a timing light and shine it on the timing marks to read the timing. It helps to put a while chalk mark on the scale on the engine block and also on the flywheel where the line is grooved into it. This will allow you to see the marks easily. Some cars require you to put the car in closed loop to set the timing.
