A good place to find reference material about certain model vehicles other than searching on the Internet is the public library. They usually have all the Chilton, Mitchell and Haynes manuals that you can browse or take home for free.

Replace power brake booster

unbolt the master cylinder from the booster and remove from it carefully so you don`t damage the brake lines. undo the vacume hose from booster. disconnect the brake pedal from the booster rod. unbolt the 4 mounting bolts for the booster. these maybe located under the dash where they come through the firewall, if not on the outside of the firewall. remove the booster.

Throttle seems stuck on a 1995 ford probe as when engine is started it races with no control

This sounds like a major vaccum leak or a stuck IAC(idle air control) motor.Look for a loose/broken vacuum line(a large hose feeds the brake booster and the PCV valve).(my stepson's Sable had a rotten vacuum elbow).

I have a 1995 K1500. I have had every part of the brake system replaced and still no brakes. when I stump on them it feels like your pushing on a brick wall, then they leak down to almost the floor be

That hard pedal is a sign of a vacuum leak on the brake booster.Check the vacuum hose on the booster for holes and with the engine running have someone push the brake pedal while someone else watches the hose to see if it is collapsing when the brake is applied. If it does that will be your problem.Replace the 3/8 vacuum booster hose.It will have to be the thick hose just for a vacuum booster or it will do the same thing if that is what is wrong.

The line that connect from the intake to the brake booster

This is a vacuum line. It produces vacuum to the brake booster which in turn makes it easier for you to press the brake pedal to stop.

On a 1998 ford contour what is the line that run from the intake to break booster

This is the vacuum line that boost the pressure you apply to the pedal. In other words, without this line you do not have power brakes.

Where is the brake booster vacuum line on the 89 toyota camry?

Booster line will attach to back side (firewall side ) of booster chamber.

Should find a metal elbow coming out of the booster chamber that the vacuum line will slip over.

When you look at the booster chamber from the front, the location of the line should be at approx. 9 o'clock (as if looking at a clock dial)

1996 Ford Contour GL 2.0 liter 4cyl. engine bi/fuel brake booster line broken.

THe main vacuum line should attach to the top of the valve cover sporting a vacuum port about size of a pinky... If it's the main one it is about that size. It runs from brake booster to valve cover
