Question about 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer Ext

2 Answers

Front Blower motor on my 2003 trailblazer EXT doesn't work-At times it only worked on highest setting, then would not shut off even after turning ignition off. I had to pull fuse and reinstall it. Now blower not working at all. The rear seat fan for A/C-Heat works fine. I believe the relay is okay. Where can I find the blower control module and the blower itself to check them out?

This happened to me. Replace the resistor. Be sure to purchase it from the dealer. Off brands will not work.

I have a 2003 trailblazer EXT LT. the front AC/ Heat controls work when they want to. they fan will run after the car has been turn off for as much as 3 hours. or it will not work at all. I checked the fan...

If you have automatic climate control, replace your blower control module, behind the glovebox.
If it's manual, replace blower motor resistor assembly, same location.

2005 Trailblazer EXT. Blower speed control not working...

Problem with blower motor is the blower motor resistor. They are usually located next to the blower motor, a couple of screws and a couple of plugs and your done. Autozone sells them for around $30 each. Wipers you may want to check for relays under the hood in the fuse block. There may be 2 relays 1 for low and 1 for high. I have switched relays from other working accesories and got wipers to work. Sometimes bad connection.

2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer A/C only works in position 3, 4 and 5 (the highest). A/C will not work in position 1 or 2.

sounds like the resistor for the blower motor, should be located in blower housing below right side of dash, come on,its only like 25 bucks, give it a shot. im sure you will be amazed what 20 bucks can do nowadays.
