Sounds like your pads or shoes have worn out. Also your brake fuild reservoir is low and sucking air. You need a brake job and brake need to be bled.

Will resting the computer after checking everything fix a problem?

it is about time that you visited a specialist brake shop before you kill yourself or someone else.. The brake booster is not working and you have no material left on the brakes . Pumping the brakes indicates a faulty master cylinder . Be safe -park the car and walk and get a tow to a garage

1994 Ford Crown Victoria. There is a screeching & grinding coming from the right rear wheel. Only sometimes and when slowing down or starting from a stop. We have the wheel off and the rear end open....

wheel bearings??? and are you SURE the breaks are fine?? just because the shoes are not worn does NOT mean the master cylinder is working right there is alot to go wrong with rear breaks

Brakes are making loud grinding noise when slowing down to stop or on an incline

Ok, it could be a few things, 1. bad break caliper. 2. if you have ceramic breaks, it could be a cracked brake pad, and if they are not ceramic they can still be cracked. 3. if you drive a lot then it could be that you need new breaks again.. 4. also have your back breaks checked along with the front ones..

2002 tahoe breaks lock up during driving

It sounds like the rear calipers are bad. Raise the rear wheels and see if you can turn the tires. If you can't, open the bleeder. If you still can't replace the caliper. If you can turn the wheel after you open the bleeder, replace the brake hose to that wheel.
