BMW has a list of 6 Verizon phones that work but these phones are either not sold any longer, or not adequate phones. There must be others.

Display of phone numbers on my dash not working any more?

This is just a link to the phone via the dash display. Try removing the phone from the car's devices. Then remove the car from the phone's Bluetooth devices. Power your phone down, count to 10 and power back up. Pair the two devices again.

2007 335i coupe bluetooth passcode location, where is it?

To use your Bluetooth® wireless technology enabled phone in your vehicle, an initial one-time-only pairing procedure is required. To pair your phone, initiate Bluetooth® search mode in the vehicle. Then depending on the handset, initiate search mode or discoverable mode.* Once the vehicle finds the handset, a Bluetooth passkey is required to complete the pairing procedure.

You may choose any combination of 4 to 16 digits. Enter the passkey on the phone or vehicle, as prompted, and then the other device will ask you to verify it.

If it really is a 2006 or earlier year 335i Coup?, you need the vehicle's Owner's Manual. Since: "Vehicles require a fixed Bluetooth passkey for verification which is included in the vehicle's Owner's Manual."

You can obtain the manual from the dealer, when you provide them with your vehicles VIN-code, for a price of course.

How do you pair a phone to a bmw 330xi

go to verizon, by two phones, now you have a pair. Then you can call yourself and you have paired the phones to any car, not just a 330xi.

Most states have outlawed phone usage anyway. So that was you in the slow lane weaving all over the place trying to text, use the phone, call the wifes girlfriend at the office.

But you will be able to call the collision repair shop and tow truck from one of your two phones.

I purchased a 2005 gmc sierra 1500 extended cab. what is the small speaker/grille in the headliner over the drivers head?

Mkisner, I have a 2003 gmc 1500 extend cab. I hear a small fan running in the headliner. It's very loud when cold outside. When I press on the grille in the head liner it quiets down. After the cab warms up the sound goes away. I ask the mechanic at the dealer what in heck is that. He said it's a fan that registers inside temperature for the air/heater. They have to take the headliner down to change it. He said expensive to change because of labor so I live with it. That is the explanation that was given to me. It does look like a speaker. The On-star voice receiver is in the mirror and speakers are the radio. That's why the radio music mutes when talking to On-Star or using the truck phone. You might what to know that Verizon has a deal with On-Star to add the truck phone to you Verizon bill for $9.95 per month sharing your minute with your cell phone. Verizon will assign a new phone number for your truck. It works great and you can program voice commands for the phone. Very powerful and clear. You can't go wrong but you have to keep On-Star active. Ken

Unable to upload phone numbers from my Verizon LG phone to my BMW 535i

I apologise if this isnt much help, however this is a common query from customers. They're able to pair the phone to the car but not the phonebook or its other functions.

In most cases this is just simply due to the compatability issues between the system integrated into the car and its ability to fully synchronize with the phone. Its not a problem with the car and visa versa its just that particular phone is too sophisticated/complex for the software to handle.

The only way to see which phones are fully compatible is at your local bmw dealer. They should be able to show you a table of which phones are compatible for your model/year and system it operates on.

Hopes this helps!

If your phone is drawing more amps than your fuse is rated for, then the diagnosis is correct. If you are plugging it into your auxiliary power port try increasing the amp rating of the fuse. IE; 15amp to 20amp
