Sounds like the right rear cable operating the park brake is siezed or rusted.

1995 Maxima/ rear right brake not working/ new caliper, rotor, pads, and rubber line getting fluid when bleeding

I guess my first question would be are you getting a strong fluid flow at the bleeder screw ? Keep in mind I am not there in person - you should have an equalizer valve, probably in the master cylinder that could be restricting flow. Is there a chance something is going on with the ABS system ?

I have a 96 nissan maxima it won't go into park

Most likley problem is your brake light switch. go underneath the dash to the brake pedal and depending on wether you have cruise control or not ther will be one or two sensors there. the black sensor should be the brake light switch. disconnect and jump the connector with a paper clip and see if the brake lights comeon and the shifter will move.

I put 2 front brakes shoes on my 1995 Nissan Maxima, what is the correct way to bleed my brakes? Is their any order that i need to follow?

Did you open the bleeder screws at all. If not you may not need to bleed the brakes just pump the pedal to bring the caliper pistons out and your pedal should feel fine. If you just want to blled anyways open all your bleeder srews and as the fluid level in your brake master cylider goes down refill with new dot 3 brake fluid (do not alow the master cylider to drain completely). Close bleeders when you get clean fluid through. Start at passenger rear corner and have a buddy press the brake pedal down. open bleeder, close bleeder after squirt of fluid then have buddy release pedal. Do this a couple of time per corner. Go from pass rear to drivers rear then pass. front ending with driver front. You just flushed your brake fluid. Hope this helps.

Got a 1995 nissan maxima with 179,000 that hesitates or misses.

hello, also check plug wires, distributator, cap and rotor button, you can check plug wires,at knight time, crank engine, with hood up, walk around car, look at plug wires while motor is running, see if any sparks are coming from plug wires, also if it clunks, like you said, you may have broke motor mount, transmission mount, check for air lines leaking also

REAR BRAKES ON A 1995 NISSAN MAXIMA CANT SEEM TO GET THE CYLINDER TO DECOMPRESS

rear discs? If they are, they should have an X or 4 dimples in the piston, you need to screw them back in, just watch the boot, sometimes they stick to the piston, they sell a tool to turn them in at the parts stores that goes on your 3/8 ratchet

My gear shift is stuck in park

the 1st thing to check is the brake lights, if they are not working due to a defective brake light switch the system locks the gearshift in park, if the brake lights are working you will need to check for a stuck release cable or release cable solenoid actuator problem.

1995 nissan max. callibers problems HELP PLEASE

check your e-brake cables. make sure they are moving freely on bith sides. did you use a torque wrench to torque the wheels also?? unevenly torqued wheels can cause rotor warpage causing brake pulsation/shake. problems like this are hard to fix over the internet, without me actually looking at it my self. Rear brake setup on a maxima is pretty simple setup. I am just trying to think, what you could have done to cause this. Did the pads slipped nice and easy in to the slides??, when you were putting the pads in?? let me kno what you find and we will take it from here.
