There are multiple reasons the front end could be shaking.

1. Tires are out of balance or one has become separated causing a knot.

2. One of the front bearings is going out.

3. One of the 2 front cv drive shafts are wearing out or bent.

4. Inner and Outer Tie rod ends needing replaced

Above are the 4 main causes of vibration in the front end being able to be felt in the steering wheel. i would first take the vehicle to the tire shop and have them check the balance on all 4 wheels. Also, while they have the wheels off, ask them nicely if they could check out the front end for you.

This is a common problem and is usually caused my one of (3) different things and sometimes all three. First, it could be the wheels out of balance. Get them balanced and have alignment checked. Check the wear on the front tires. If there is any weird wear on the tires such as "scalloping", you will know that you have an alignment problem. Don't continue to keep driving if this is the case because once the tires are worn too badly and have scalloped uneven wearing, you will need to get new tires too. Bad alignment causes things to get out of whack and the front wheel will start shaking when driving, sometimes only at certain speeds. Next problem is worn out front end parts like tie rods that allow wobbling to take place, along with worn wheel bearings. If you do a search on Google images for "uneven tire wear" you will see examples of problems associated with various wear types if you follow the photos to their websites. Also tire seller sites often show it too, like Goodyear or Firestone websites.

How to fix play on tata xenon 3l dicor power steering unit

Most power steering units have two adjusters--one one the lower end for main bearing adjustment, but the one on top (just like manual steering boxes) is all you usually need to adjust. With front end jacked up and engine running adjust screw inward until drag is felt in steering wheel with wheels pointing straight ahead, then loosen just a touch until no bind is felt as steering is turned back and forth through center of steering.

My 1996 Chevy Suburban is experiencing low, intermittent noise and vibration that can be felt through the steering wheel and seats. This only occurs at 50 to 55mph and not constant like an unbalanced

possible wheel bearing at fault. if it heard/felt more when turning or swerving and is a growling type noise, more than likley is. possible bad tire shouldnt be over looked. is abs light on? most often when wheel bearing is bad a speed sensor ( within wheel bearing ) will go open, setting abs light. vehicle needs to be ran on a hoist to try and duplicate noise/vibration.

2001 Impala, strong right to left vibration felt in the front end ONLY when accelerating, NOT felt through steering wheel NOT felt when coasting, or slowing down, strait or turning vehicle tracks...

Has to be a drive axle, most likely an inner joint, should be able to feel the play if one is bad (jacked up to let the wheel spin freely).
Also. If the front suspension is weak,or lowered, the CV axle will bottom out in the inner plunge cup and make a terrible vibration.

Steering wheel trembling when driving at speed 60 to 80 km per hour.

Hello. Welcome to FixYa.

Steering wheel tremble, or shaking, can usually be attributed to the fornt tires being out of balance, or, the tires themselves may be out of round, or, a rim could be bent.

I would suggest that you take the vehicle to a tire shop, and get the front tires spun-balanced. During that procedure, the tech will see if the balance is incorrect, the rim is bent, or if the tire is out of round.

Even if you have 'new' tires, an internal issue inside the tire could be the culprit.

Your best course of action is to get it to a tire shop, and get the above items checked out.

Thanks for choosing FixYa for assistance today.

My car wobbles from side to side at low speeds and trembles on the highway at fast speeds...

This happened to my Buick. The front tires had little facets worn on them, causing the trembles. Yours sounds even more severe. But for my car, I adjusted the toe in and rotated the front tires to the back. The steering wheel doesn't tremble any more. But there is a rumble in the seat. I can live with that. Bad shocks. Bad alignment. These cause the facets.

My car trembles when i accelerate and when its on

wiggling or trembling are mostly cause by the front wheels.
it could only be unbalanced air pressure of the tires.
if not, it could be loose tie rod ends connecting to the steering wheel. fittings might have been worn out already and needs to be replaced.
to check whether if which side is causing it, lift or jack the left or right tire, then manually try to wiggle it, push or pull it, try every possible way to determine and looseness on the wheel. do the same on the other front wheel.
if one of then is loose or wiggles as you check, then there is a loose part on that wheel. check carefully.

sounds like a wheel bearing. typically when you take weight off bad bearing noise goes away. to replace bearing you will need a press to get it off and on
