Question about 2003 Chrysler Sebring
I just came from the mechanic and he diagnosed my 2003 chrysler sebring lxi with needing a new computer. I brought it in because my MIL is on continuously. He reset it and it came back on immediately. I then have been looking online and came across a "chat -Q&A" that the code may be associated with several "issues" and that a "defective computer" is "highly unlikely". What can I do?
I would go back into the "chat Q&A" and see if I could get more specifics as to exactly what the issues are and how to repair them if they can be. It may also be worth some time to see if there may be a recall or TSB (technical service bulletin) from Chrysler on this problem. One wouldn't want to pay for a new computer if it isn't going to fix the problem. Also check out the solutions section on this site to see if this has been looked into before, it's quite possible that by looking at symptoms you may find a solution. Hope this helps.
