Heater fan not working

Smack it and see if it comes on. If it does then the motor brushes are bad. If it does not come on, check the fuses. If the fuses are ok, check the voltage on the plug to the motor.

My heat not blowing or coming out hot at all

fan motor or relay is bad check relay first swap out with another one in the distribution box if it still doesn't blow check blower for loose connection an is there power at blower motor if there is replace motor,if air is coming out but just not hot check to see if controller on dash is moving the door in the air box move controller from hot to cold and listen under the dash to see if you hear the door closing sometimes you can nkock on the box and it may move if it is stuck after that you may need to see a shop, also make sure heater hoses are getting hot under the hood they go into the firewall ther is two of them placed close together make sure both are hot

The blower motor isn't working when cutting the climate control on..The compressor is working but no air is blowing out. is there a fuse that operates the blower motor?

Yea, check all your fuses first

blower motors work by way of electrical resistance. Imagine how a dimmer switch works in a house, thats all your doing when turning the fan speeds up or down, just adjusting the voltage to it, well there are generall 3 coils (dont quote me exactly here) but anyways these coils offer paths for electricity but also resistance...well just like when you rub your hands togethor fastly they get warm, these coils im talking about will actually glow they get so hot, and eventually they could just break from being hot to many time.. I know thats a long answer to what the problem is, but knowledge is power they say.

so if there is no air coming out then theres definetly a problem, either fuse or bad blower motor,

Blower motor only works on low and medium on 2007 dodge nitro

You replaced the resistor and WHAT relay? The blower motor circuit on a 2007 Dodge Nitro does not use a relay.

The blower resistor gets it's power from the A/C - heater control unit.

If you check for voltage at the blower motor resistor connector (Key on, relay disconnected), the DARK BLUE/GREY wire should be hot when the control switch is on HIGH. The DARK BLUE/VIOLET wire should be hot with the switch in the MEDIUM 2 position. The DARK BLUE/ORANGE wire should be hot with the switch in the MEDIUM 1 position. The DARK BLUE/BROWN wire should be hot with the switch on LOW.

If any of these are not as stated above, then you either have a bad A/C - heater control unit, or faulty wiring between the control unit and the resistor.

I have no air hot or cold coming out the vents. i removed the blower motor and it spins ok. everything in the panel lights on but no air is coming out. i can hear the ac kicking in and out.

First check fuse 103 in the battery relay box and swap the blower relay with another similar relay, such as the horn relay. If this isn't the problem, you should hot wire the blower motor to the battery to make sure it works. If all of that is good, next check the switch/motor controller. Take the connector off the blower motor and check the voltage in the connector. With the key on, the voltage should be 12 volts with the fan setting on high. You can also use a 12 volt test light for this test. If there is no voltage, replace the switch/controller at the control panel. If you need any instructions or have any questions, please get back to me.

No heat

are you getting any air into cabin?? cause if you ar getting air but its not coming out hot then it may be a bad heater control valve. If you are not getting any air period then its a bad blower motor or blower motor relay.

Heater blower doesn't work for honda civic 2002

It sounds like your relay could be bad. When your relay contacts become worn your volt meter will show 12v coming out of the relay until you put a load on the circuit, then the power goes away. You have to get to the wire going to your blower either from the back of the relay or by sticking a straight pin through the hot wire. Clip your + lead to the pin and the - to a ground. Turn blower switch on. With the blower unplugged you will show 12v but when you plug in the blower the power will disappear. If this is the case your relay is bad.
