Cylinder missfire or air leak. Change plugs and wires, check intake pressure and cylinder pressure to determine if you have a gasket leak. Intake or exhaust gasket. Check coil packs and spark to see if it is constant like it should be. You can go to autozone.com and register for full free online repair manual. Any other questions, feel free to ask

Dont know firing order for 1996 mustang

V-6 firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6.
V-8 firing order is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8.

Number 1 cylinder is the front cylinder on the passenger side.
Good Luck.

89 mustang lx ( My dash lights stay on for approx 2 minutes before the 5 amp fuse pops) Any idea ?

you have another circuit piggybackin on the dash lights, my guess is a bad ground to the parking or tail lights, try unplugging the tail lights and front marker lights. if the fuse satys good you have it

My dash lights quit working on my 98 Ford Mustang GT. I checked the fuse and my tail lights and brake lights work. everything else works. What else could it be.

the headlight knob is also a dimmer for the lights on the dash. try turning it all the way one side, then check fuse if still not working.

My 1995 ford mustang gt is running sluggish. I have cold air coming out one exhaust pipe and hot air coming out the other pipe. What is the problem?

Could be a crack in your head gasket. This could cause one or more of your pistons to stop firing making it not as hot as the other tail pipe. check for fluids coming out of your engine block. Hope this helps
