Good check you have done.
Good for you head gasket is still good.
Bad stem valves can let the oil leak in to the combustion chambers causing smokes. Since the engine is Shaky on acceleeration, you need to check the compression presure to see if valves not seating properly ( poor compression ) besides the stem valves. Good luck.

White smoke coming from exhaust, need help

White smoke is condensation from a buildup of water from within the exhaust system - if it was blue smoke then it is burning oil ... let car sit for a few minutes and take the dipstick out - wipe it clean - then re-insert dipstick - take it back out and check level against gauge at bottom of dipstick if you think you may have overfilled the oil

Hi, I have a 2008 Ford fucas with 40,000 miles do not it much the other day I noticed white smoke from my exhaust with a little wet looking then it quit do i need to drive my down the freeway?

A little white/blue smoke at startup is usually an indication of valve seals leaking a little. If it's only at startup and goes away, it's not a big problem - keep an eye on the oil level in the crankcase (dipstick).

If it's dense white smoke, and continues for up to a minute or so (or longer), you may be getting coolant into the cylinders - head gasket or worse problems. If this is the case, you may want to have it checked for contamination of the coolant by exhaust products.

Blowing white smoke out of exhaust pipe

White smoke is usually a sign for a bad head gasket. How much white smoke is coming out? Also, are you losing coolant and can't find a drip under the engine?

My 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan started to release a haeavy white smoke through the exhaust system for the first time. What could be the cause and the diagnosis?

sounds like a blown head gasket , have a compression check done, and check your oil dipstick and inside the radiator,, look for water droplets on the dipstick or a milky white sludge

Have excessive blue or white smoke from exhaust when truck is started after sitting for a few hours 2005 f250 6.0 ehgine

Hi,
is it a diesel or gas engine?
Usually excessive blue smoke on start up indicates oil is getting into the combustion chamber. It could be piston rings or valve seals.
Quick check, drive it within operating range and speed. Either use the rear view mirror or get someone to drive it and you follow in another vehicle. Accelerate, then take your foot of the accelerator. Blue smoke under acceleration indicates piston rings / pistons. Blue smoke on deceleration or the "over-run" indicates worn valve guides / seals.

White smoke can indicate coolant in the combustion chambers / leaking cyl head gskt, or incorrect fueling. If brake fluid gets into the combustion chamber it will generate a lot of white smoke from the exhaust. However, that would entail a leaking brake master cyl and a leaking brake booster.

Good luck.

2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z-71. Coolant loss with no noticeable puddles or wet connections.

First- When was the last time you checked it & it was full?
Second- Is a lot missing (1/2 gallon)?
Third- check the oil dipstick for any antifreeze in there or any white smoke from the exhaust, that would indicate a possible head gasket leak.
Fourth- Do you smell antifreeze inside the truck? Look for a small leak under the glove box in the dashboard for the heater core.
Hope this helps

89 mighty max, has white smoke while accelerating, starts fine and idels good....what could be the problem?

White smoke during acceleration is usually the result of a "blown" head gasket. Antifreeze getting into the cylinder is the cause of the white smoke. Check the coolant level, if it's low you have the problem.

Nissan Sentra 2000 model. Thick White smoke coming out of exhaust

White smoke is caused by coolant or water coming out the tail pipe. There is a chance that the white smoke was caused by water splashing up from a puddle onto the exhaust pipe. Keep an eye on the coolant level in the radiator in any event.

Let us know how it goes or if the problem persists. We're looking forward to how things go for you.
