if i were you id check the fuse for the cigarette lighter, sometimes thos circuits are tied together, just a thought.. hope that helps

4wheel drive not engaging 1993 chevy k2500 fuses are good in dash. 4high only rear posi, 4low engages low range still only rear posi. linkage appears to be working properly, eletronic connectors on trany...


That truck uses a heating element in the hubs to expand the metal and engage the hubs. Manual aftermarket kits are available what replace this questionable system. Check with your parts store or 4x4 shop.

No power to heat and air panel..but heat still works as if it was stuck on defrost. blower fuse is missing will replacing this make panel work agian?


This is a good possibility. When the fuse and or the switch resisiter goes faulty the system will default to a single speed defrost only...

THERE IS A FUSE IN YOUR FUSE PANEL, BUT IF THAT GOOD CHECK YOUR SWITCH ON THE 4WHEEL DRIVE SHIFTER. IT LOCATED UNDER THE TRUCK RIGHT BLOW THE SHIFTER

I have a 1993 chevy p/u and i have no parking lights, tail or front. wats wrong?


if the fuse is in good condition,not blown,check the grounds for the harnesses that feed power to those lights.if the fuse is blown you may have a bad wire causing a short to ground.
