No relays in footwell ,but as i remember with these cars they have a problem with the multiplug that goes into the fuseboard ,happens with mine as well the ac stops and the left hand turn signal just flashes fast and the back flasher light doesnt work .quick soloution without playing and thats to run a feed from the battery to the fuse .saves a lot of messing about trying to take fuse board out and close the connections up a bit .Just bare the wire back a bit push in with the fuse on the feed side .Easy

CHECK FOR LOW/DIPPED BEAM FUSE BLOWN IF OK CHECK BULBS

2003 GMC Envoy low beam head lights will not come on. The bulbs are not blown, fuse's ok, no power coming to the head light connector. minimal power to the fuse compartment with fuse removed. 9 to 10...

The problem is a Headlight module. Fuse box under the hood has two black modules side by side, the one on your right is the headlight module the one on the left is the fan module. Try swapping them, if the headlights work replace bad module, don't drive vehicle with the bad module in the fan slot. Mine kept going bad because I had a high intensity bulb on one side.

My dipped beam wont work on my clio

If both lights do not work it is unlikely to be a fuse or even the bulbs, although that cannot be completely discounted. The more probable cause would be the headlight relay which has gone faulty or even the headlight switch which is not selecting the low beams. Fuses are easiest to check, and there is probably one for each light. Bulbs are a bit trickier and really need a continuity tester to check, or try other bulbs. (Remember not to touch the glass part of the bulb). The relay can only be checkec by replacement and the switch can be checked by seeing if there is power at the low beam terminals when the switch is selected that way.

Both dipped headlights are not working, does'nt seem like a faulty fuse.

Welcome to FixYa.com

Check with a test light at the head light switch for power. If there is power. go to Headlight Relay.

Golf gti mk3 dipped headlights not working, fuses ok bulbs changed

If high beams are working and the dipped lights not it is usually the headlight switch that is faulty and will need to be replaced.

05 Renault Grand Scenic. No dipped headlights. Bulbs and fuses OK

Are u sure that the bulbs are OK? I had no dipped lights on mine, & thought it must be a fuse or another electrical fault. It turned out, both bulbs had gone. I think this often happens when one side goes, the other soon follows.

No dipped beam headlights on audi a4 1,9td 2003

Check up dipped beam headlights fuse inside fuse box. For Audi A4 the fuse box is located on the left side of dashboard behind a plastic cover (for left hand steering wheel vehicle). On inner face of the plastic cover you will find the fuse diagram. If the dipped beam headlights fuse is OK, check up dipped beam headlights bulbs.

My polo main headlights do not work but my full beam does work

Hi, the main headlights work through a separate fuse from the full beam. If all the fuses are fine the problem might be that the globes has blown on the vehicle. To make 100% sure that it is the globes, see if you get power to the headlights when the main lights are switched on.

High beam headlights quit working. Bulbs are OK.

If your getting power at the headlight wire harness, then it's going to be the bulb it self, but make sure your checking the right 12 volt terminal at the plug. There should be three terminals there, there is a ground, 12 volt low beam, and a 12 volt high beam. If both the low and high 12 volts are getting power, then it's going to be the head light bulb it self that has reached the end of it's life time since the day time running lights are always on which is the high beams. Good luck and check the fuse box under the hood by the battery.

Low beam headlight not working

Headlight's are not fused, there is a circuit breaker built into the headlight switch, pull the head light switch out and look for a burnt discolored connector and discolored terminals on the switch, if u find either or both replace the headlight switch and the connector, headlight switch connectors are avail in the aftermarket through full service parts stores like NAPA, also on the internet under automotive electrical repair connectors, if the headlight switch checks ok and has power in to it and out to low beams then replace the multifunction switch opn the steering column.
