If it is a manual transmission, there is a reverse lamp switch on it, remove the wires, key on, jumper the wires (unconnected from switch) If you get lights, its the switch

Check the bulb housing is not corroded. If it is use some fine grade sandpaper to sand off the corrosion. If there is no corrosion then check your fuses. Lastly if both are ok check your wiring. I presume you have tried a new bulb

Signal lights & power windows not working for a 2001 Toyota Highlander?

If all you windows are inoperative, check the fuse first, then check the main power supply to the master window switch. As for the indicators, they normally share a fuse with one or more circuits, so if perhaps your reverse lights are not working, check a fuse there as well. Otherwise look at the indicator flasher relay and finally the indicator switch and its wiring and connectors.

I have a 95 camry and the reverse lights don't work. I've had the same problem before with my 90 celica. Both are high miles. Is this a factory problem? Easy to fix?

first check the bulbs if not that there is a senser on transmission the sends current to lights when shifted into reverse
