For time and date settings you must try the follows:
1. On the instrument cluster display you will find two small buttons at the bottom side. The left button is provided for time and date settings.
2. Pull the button once and you will see the "hour" number in pulse mode. Then turn the button finely on the right side step by step until you set up the "hour" number. When you finished the "hour" number setting you must pull once again the button until the "minute" number come in pulse mode.
3. Now turn the button finely on the right side step by step until you set up the "minute" number. When you finished the "minute" number setting you must pull once again the button until the "day" number come in pulse mode.
4. In the same mode you will set up also the "month" and the "year" numbers. After all settings you must waiting few seconds until display no more pulsing.

A6 turbocharged. Whyu does it smoke when it covers a 120km per hour?

I am going to say 'blown turbo'. As I understand it, they needs replacing every few years. They are susceptible to heat and incredible revolutions. They have to be lubricated, the seals go, and you get smoke.

Thermostat has failed (stuck open) and needs replacement. It's a big job (5-6 hours charged labor for a shop), and requires the front of the car to be removed. Here's a pic of my car (B5 A4) a few weeks ago when I changed mine:

There's no way around it either - removing the front of the car is the only way to access it.

2001 Audi S4- the alarm and flashing lights go on and off with nothing touching it.

Having the exact same problem right now. Just started two days ago when it snowed. Thinking maybe the cold weather messed up the lock on my trunk. Played with my trunk a bit and seems like my problem went away. I have to keep it locked all the time, but the flashers and alarm stopped for now....
