I need help getting my spare off from under my 2005 Cadillac EXT

I dont have a spare kit, just the spare. It wasnt with my truck when i purchased it, can i use anything else to get it off?

Sorry u need the cranking tool to lower the spare. there is no way around this unless you cut the cable holding the spare up with a bolt cutter.

What does it mean when the Service Ride Control light comes on, on a 2005 Cadillac Escalade?

I have a 2005 Cadillac Escalade EXT and the check engine light came on. when checked the code 930 came up. What dose this mean?


i guess you mean p0930 obdii code... that is gear shift lock selenoid circuit problem....when press on brake does gear shifter move freely.. anyway reset and see if returns... if problem with gear shift try replacing selenoid

I dont know how to lower the spare tire


There is a cover in the back by the licence plate, open it and put your truck key in the slot, then put the stright pieces of steal that came in the kit( side of bed) together, and you will need to crank the spare wheel down. Hope this helps

I need to remove the spare tire from underneath my 2004 Escalde?


The spare is held in place by a cable hoist, the the tool kit for changing tires has the crank to lower the spare. the access hole is through the bumper in most cases, look under the rear bumper u will see the crankin down access easily that way.
