1998 chrysler concorde and the a/c and heat blower resistor blown

I have a 1998 chrysler concorde and the a/c and heat blower resistor burn out causing the blowe to run on hi all the time. So I replaced it but within minutes it burnt out again. What could cause that. The fan seems to run strong and fine on hi but could it be bad still and drawing to many amps.

could be it wasn't the blower but a fuse or the speed resistor

I changed the heater/ac blower motor and my heat or cold temperature still won't come on

if the blower is still not working it could be a fuse issue or a resistor or a control head or a bad ground

Where is the heater blower resistor and relays on a 1998 chrysler concorde Lxi

on the left side of the steering wheel, remove the plastic circular shape that your door touches when it is closed. your door must be open to remove. there you will find the heater fuse and many more.

My 1998 Chrysler Concord LXi blast heat on high

Sounds like your blower control modular. It is located on the passager side floor under the dash. If you can find the blower motor and follow the wires back from it will lead you right to it (about half a foot away from it). It plugs into it. and has two screws you will have to remove to get it out. The two screws can be kinda hard to get to and you will have to get the modular from the dealer but if you can change it this should fix your problem.

Ac/heat

i had the same problem i did some research and it says the Blower Motor Resistor "pack" is the problem, the resistors are probably blown. you can check this by going on the passanger side and removing the black plaster under the glove comparment, then you will see a little rectangle beeing held by two screws, disconnect the wires coming in and then pull the part downwards, you will see that is probably burned out, you can get that part it cost about $30 dollars at any autor parts shop, "Blower Motor Resistor"

Heater blower will not shut off

Sounds like a bad blower motor resistor. You can probably have it replaced at your local dealer for under $150 dollars. The part is probably available for $50 or less.

Non-blowing heat and A/C blower fan.

Did u test the THERMAL LIMITER on the blower resistor? this is the part that burns out, the resistors always look fine. Replace the resistor, it is cheap and i am sure it will fix the problem. U may also wish to check the 30 Amp blower motor relay circuit breaker in the underhood fuse box, I believe it is marked HEATER.
