Any VW dealership can look up the code for you if you give them the radio serial number.

If youre one of the lucky ones, the code is written on the bottom of the radio.

Radio code for my 2003 vw jetta premium 6 radio

If it is not in the owners manual you will likely need to provide the vehicle vin # and registration to a VW dealer Parts Department and they can call it in to the manufacturer and get it for you.

I need a code to reset the radio in my 2007 VW Jetta, battery died and the radio no longer works.

You have to visit a VW dealer, They will remove the radio with a special tool and enter the radio's serial number into VW's data system. This will retrieve the code. If you have owned the car from new, the code was on a tag in the owner's manual. It may still be there even if it is a used car.

97 vw jetta theft lock radio code

You will likely need to take your vehicle's VIN# to the VW Dealer to have the code provided. In some VW's the code can be found inside the trunk (spare tire well) or written in the Owner's Manual by a previous owner. The VW Dealer can only provide the original code, unless they have a record of previously changing the radio.

Way too many codes to run through each code manually.

I replaced my car battery in my 1996 Volkswagon Jetta and now the radio won't work. It actually says SAFE on the dial. How can I reset it

You will need to enter the radio unlock code. The lock code maybe on a sticker in the trunk, or consult a VW dealer to get the unlock code.

How to put in code for radio on 98 vw jetta

Check your owner's manual. Call the dealer and ask them or search the web for a Jetta webpage and post the question there.

Changed battery raido in safe mode have code no instrucktions

Check the owner's manual. Most people write the code down if the radio was installed when the car was new. If not, then you have to take it to the place that sold the radio. The could be the VW dealer, or whomever sold the radio. Only they are allowed to reset the code to something new, that they can tell you. It requires equipment no one else has.

I have a VW jetta 2006,but Radio dos not work, asking for a CODE # .WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Real only option is to take the car to a dealer where they will query VWoA for the unlock code for your radio. It will probably have to be removed for identification and they will probably charge you for this. Alternatively, the unlock code may be written in or taped to the owners manual somewhere in the radio section (maybe). Some original owners would do this.

I need the code for a vw radio, radio # VWZ5Z7PO665315 Serial # 16888, can you help? vendor code YPC

If you are talking about the code that unlocks the radio in the case you unhooked the battery, I would look to see if it's written in the section of the owners manual covering the radio. If not just take it to your VW dealer and they will have the code found in less then 5 minutes and most likely won't charge you a dime for it.

Good Luck

98 VW Beetle used-no radio code- I have radio & car serial #'s...

I assume you have this unlocked by now, but here's an answer for someone else for the future :-)
if you have the original radio that come with the car, look in the wheel well in the trunk, where the spare tire goes. (yep, you'll need to stand on your head). there is a sticker that will have the 4-digit code on it.
enter that into the radio.
I can't remember off the top of my head which one it is, but either the >> Scan or the am/fm button will be the "enter key"
