How do I line-up the flywheel timing marks and where are they. I fitted new clutch and had to remove the flywheel

There should have been a dowel pin in crank flange so the flywheel would go back in the same spot. Is it a new flywheel? Was it balanced? There are no timing marks on the flywheel. Does the gear on the starter line up with the flywheel teeth? Does the engine turn over? Would like to help.

My jcb jz140 cut out when spining around and now say flywheel code 108 an wont start what can i do?

If the engine is turning over(cranking but not starting) then theres a chance you damaged your crank sensor. When u say spinning around do you mean you were 360 wheeling at a high rate of speed, because you could also have picked up debris in the bell housing that damaged or is obstructing the signal form the flywheel to the crank. Check the sensor cable and connections first if the car is cranking.

How do i check for the timing marks on the automatic flywheel for the vw passat v6 amx engine

Hi. The amx does not ahve a flywheel pick up. the crank sensor g28 is on the side of the block. The flywheel have offset bolts so can only be fitted in the correct position. The best way to set tdc is with a special tool that goes into the side of the block at g28 sensors hole, or to set tdc with a dial gauge on cylinder 1. I don't yhink the flywheel fitment is the issue with this vehicle. Have you disconnected the air mass meter and run the car to see if it is beter? The air mass meter commonly fails when disturbed during repairs.

Cranksensor trouble on nissan navara 2006

there is almost no way to miss align the flywheel! did you checked side by side for proper fit and all the slots matched , if you didn't i would get one fro the same place and match the old one, Also did you remove the sensor before replacing the flywheel? if you didn't you may have a broken sensor.

You replaced all those sensor,Your problem is mechanical, The timing may have slipped. If the timing belt is good and all on the mark, how the crank position sensor, The crank get its signal from the transmission flywheel,if the flywheel is cracked and lost its position then it does exactly what you describe . You either have a cracked flywheel or a jumped timing belt. The exhaust can be plugged also

R@r engine an harness in vehical no start an p0355 code present no crank signal no rpm on monitor an none on cluster. test signal an has signal to ecm from crank sensor.wondering if maybe terminals could...

i will assume that on both engines the sensor is located at the lower
right side of the block and we don't know the year of the new engine
I believe the crank sensor gets it's signal from the flywheel so if the
flywheel is diffirent it could affect the signal.
I would call a salvage yard and ask if they have run into this before
they have interchange charts that tell you if a 96 fits a 99 or a 00
will fit an 02 if you change this or that. I hope this helps.
any other ? gimme a shout good luck
