Question about 1985 Dodge Ram 3500
It is more than likely in the idle air control valve on the truck. It more than likely has a lot of carbon build up on it causing it not to work as effectively as it should. Remove the motor and clean the plunger and the seat on the throttle body and see if this helps. If it still does it you will have to replace the valve.
