How do i use the phone button on the steering wheel of my mini cooper 2007

Call you Mini Dealer, I am sure that they will help you through this problem. If the dealer cannot help you go to the Mini website and look for a technical support contact.

all you can do is check the toe but I would recommend taking it to a good front end shop to have all the steering components checked first because if you have any loose parts an alignment isnt going to do you much good.!!!

Just answered your other similar problem. I'm not familiar with the mini but I've notice on other cars that because the steering wheel is a moving part then to connect devices they have to use a type of spring loaded strip of metal which is held in contact with the wheel but still lets it turn. You need to find out how the steering wheel mounted devices are connected to the steering column.

if you didn't replace the brake pad wear sensor, you wont be able to reset the light. if you did and it still doesn't reset, you need to get into the maintenance system with a scanner, (your local garage should be able to do it) and reset the brake pad wear counter

remove and clean contacts.
