SOURCE: My 1983 Ford E150 conversion van has a security system that I need to bypass. It won't start and the alarm keeps going off. The buttons on the key chain work sometimes but still won't start.

the system is either hooked to the battery or it has a fuse try disconnecting them

How do I unhook the security system

You cant bypass the factory alarm, unless you have a bypass module for an aftermarket alarm. this usually requires an additional ignition key to be inserted into the bypass module. Or have an individual with a degree in electronics and a diagram of the factory ecu. He could figure it out quite quickly.

Were is my security system located at in my 2004 Mitsubishi Galant

It is integrated in your entire electrical system of your vehicle. the only way to bypass is to get an aftermarket alarm with a bypass module which will require an additional ignition key (which is inserted into the bypass module).

Can the black box under dash thats the alarm system be removed permently

Not that simple to just disconnect it. Otherwise thieves would have no problem stealing vehicles with security systems. The black box communicates with the engine computer, and then the computer enables the vehicle to start and stay running.
That isn't a bypass technique, it is a reset procedure. Apparently it has got to the point that the reset doesn't fix the problem. Now you may need a new black box-the theft deterrent module-or it may be a problem with the ignition switch. Sounds like the box, but not sure. Ask a pro near you.
Just a heads up- that black box (TDM) can be very expensive. A company called newrockies has developed a module that bypasses the security system for good. this module signals the pcm that all is good, and no problem with the security. They sell this module for about $250. (A GM black box can be around $800, so you are better off with newrockies, and be done forever with security issues.) Google newrockies and you will find out more about it.

Alarm went of when door was open with key and would not start

Then either the key is defective or the sensor inside the ignition lock cylinder is defective or the anti theft module is defective. If the module is ok you can bypass the system with a simple resistor. If you go to this LINK you can read about bypassing the "VATS" security system used in your car.

I had to replace the ingetion on my a 2000 neon due to a lost key. how do i bypass the alaram system to keep the car running

If you had an ignition with a security chip key and you replaced it with an ignition that doesn't have that function (I believe it was a gray key in 2000) then your options are 1: replace the ECM or 2: Replace the ignition yet again with the correct ignition type. That security system is built into the ECM and there is no bypass. If that is an after market alarm, not common with this restriction, remove the cut off from the ignition wires or disable the alarm but cutting the power wire.

Security System on 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 malfunctioning

if you do not want to go back to the dealer then take it to an alarm shop which does private installations on cars and trucks because most of the time when they install after market alarms they bypass them or just pull out the factory alarm altogether.
