How to remove and replace window switch from console in 99 Pontiac Sunfire GT convertible?

Do you have a convertible ? For convertibles only, refer to Console Replacement. If you don't have a convertible just Use a flat-bladed screwdriver in order to pry the power window switch outward.
Disconnect the power window switch wire harness.
Remove the power window switch.

-1985 Porsche 911 took off door panels pulled the wires off the power window switches did not label them and now i don't know what color goes to what # connector on the switch

hello there
As you are looking at the switch ,the single connector should be on the top.
Top single conn. is linked with bottom left(red wire)
Bottom right -brown
middle left is blue with black strip
middle right blue with white stripe.
Sometimes this middle wires should be switched(left-right position), the are for window doing up and down.
Same goes for the front switch for pass window.

i hope this helps

2002 Power Windows won't go up -have replaced circuit board and fuse is OK

Check that your wiring is not cracked or been bent so that it has split. I am having the same problem and my wiring has been cracked directly under the switches in the arm rest console. You must remove the whole console and it can be a big job but then replace the wires one at a time. There is a circuit breaker in the dash board fuse panel at the bottom. It is possible that your breaker is vutting out because of grounding in the wiring. I will post more soon as I'm in the middle of the job myself

Have a 2001 saturn sl1, the electric window does not work anymore on drivers door, the other three windows still work. The switch is in the middle between the two front seats. is this a major issue or do i...

It is possible the regulator or motor in the window is bad. This is somewhat common on the Saturn power windows as the plastic gears strip out. Most likely the switch is good but you can check by taking the switch out of the center console and checking for continuity.

To examine the regulator and motor you need to remove the outer door panel, which is relatively easy if you have torx bits.

1997 Range Rover Window Stuck

There may be another relay in the drivers door for the automatic touch feature. If you also have a switch on the drivers door follow the wires down to this second relay. If you don't have a second relay then try to jump the wires at the door to power the motor in both directions. If you can do that, the door switch is bad on the "up" terminal.
The regulator can be broken and you can see that with the door panel off. The motor terminals may have corrosion and you can probably reach that plug with the door panel off.

This is One with the Power Window SWITCH in the CENTER Console they Often Get Liquids SPILLED on them Causing them to Fail, I Would First Check for 12volts @ the Switch with KEY ON. With a Sure 12volts Going IN the Switch Check for 12 Volt going OUT, If Switch IS BAD there Will be NO 12volts Coming OUT With this Go on to Switch Replacement

Rear window doesnt go up, and front w, doesnt go down thanks

Biggest reason power door locks and windows stop working: spilt soda, coffee on switch contacts. This is especially true if your window switch is on the middle console. To fix this, with the car turned off (make sure no power going to the window motors) unscrew the switch and run isopropyl alcohol through the contacts. DO NOT USE WATER as the contacts can rust. If you cant unscrew the switch, then gently pour isopropyl alcohol on the switch and allow an hour to dry before trying 2nd reason: your window motor is dead and needs to be replace. 3rd reason: your window maybe off-track, or the track linkages may be stuck or broken. Listen to see if you can hear the vibration of the window motor trying to run to make sure motor not dead, then unscrew the door cover and fix the track or linkage problem.
