Who knows where is the block heater plug in at 1991 Grand Marquis

If your car has one installed already, the plug will be coming out of the grill in the front of the car or hanging down just inside the grill. If you need to purchase and install one, they are for sale at most online automotive retailers and many Auto Zone and O'Reilly's

How do you remove the plastic buttons that hold the trunk liner (which covers the inner part of the trunk where you access the license plate bulbs) on a '97 Mercury Grand Marquis?

easy way to do it is to get under the head with a pair of needle nose pliers and squeeze and pull them out.use the tip of the pliers to your advantage and put them were when you begin to pull out the tip is pushing down on the trunk it makes it easier.just make sure there isnt anything that will break underneath

2001 license plate bulb

Use a screwdriver in the recess on the plate light. Pry out the light unit. Release bulb from the contact spring. Install the bulb using a reversal of the removal procedure. Make the tension of the contact springs sufficient to hold the bulb firmly.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a 2001 grand marquis...and the engine light is staying on.it runs great.I took it to auto zone to get it tested and he looked at the code and said it has something to do with my gas.It has been on...

Try getting gas
tighten the cap till it clicks
Take it to auto zone, have him clear the error codes
And see if it comes back.
A common code for all cars is vacume loss in the fuel system, or loose gas cap.
Try it.

2001 Mercury Grand Marquis hyper flashing on directional lamps

It would probably be easier and a better idea to just get the correct bulbs.

The use of the wrong bulb can cause the flasher to flash too fast or too slow. Turn signals on American cars use either a 1257 or a 1034 bulb, which are interchangeable. A 1257 bulb draws more current than a 1034, however and if it is used in place of a 1034, the flasher will flash faster. If a 1034 bulb is used in place of an 1157 bulb, it will flash slower.
