Question about 2006 Ford Fusion
I have a 2006 Ford Fusion. The battery went dead on it, I had itjumped 2 times before I put a nw battery in it. Now I can start it and it idles great, but everytime I put the gas on nothing happens, no power at all and no increase in power. Seems like the engine is not getting any gas to it. Could I have bumped something to cause this to happen when I put the new battery in, or could I have shorted out some electrical component when I had it jumped.
The car may be in whats called " limp" mode. After the car is cooled off and you have un hooked the battery for about 10 mins , the car should be reset so to speak.
