Noises after the engine is turned on.

Hello,
i have a 2004 VW Golf. i don't know what is wrong with the car but every time i turn on the engine, there's always a rotating noise, the noise like when you forget that the engine is on, and you turned the key again. i have no idea how to get rid of this noise. is it the starter?

What you'll need to do is lift the hood and have another person shut the engine off and watch where all the belts are and wheels and see which one is being affected....This process may take a few minutes to do, By starting and turning the engine off....The main thing is just be patient when doing this, Because if not some one could not get badly hurt.

Yes, if I am reading this correctly, it sounds as if the bushings in the starter have worn to the point were when you are starting, its not meshing with the flywheel as it should. If you don't get changed, it can lead to the point of needing to replace flywheel also. When you have the starter off, also check the condition of the flywheel. -- just re-read, and it sounds as if the noise is still present after the cranking, if this is correct, i would be looking at all the pullys. I would take the belt off and see if the noise was still present-if it stopped spin all the pullys by hand and see if any feel rough or wobble.

2003 VW Golf won't start - battery was charged

You need to charge your battery up more. Either get a battery charger or leave the jumper cables hooked up for a longer period of time.
Your battery was probably completely dead. You might even need a new battery...they really don't like to be completely drained.
