Convertible top alarm alarms when top is down when i stop n start

I believe the Qs - which is found many place is for when the top is open.
My selection of answers that make some sense, although I haven't gotten mine to stop, except for a little while yet!
Make sure the arm that you pull and twist to unlock is totally fully clicked back in it's holder before opening. There is definately a sensor that says this is in the strong position .

In the bow next to that mechanisim (near a securing spot) there is a sensor that goes bad. (One of the more common reasonable sounding answers (found above too) - especially as the car ages - it seems 5+ years and one can imagine where it is gets a bit rusted).

Same idea as above - and because of what it is - the sensor is just dirty and confused. Try cleaning with something that does not leave a residue.

Again the idea above, but with better - where and how. (This just sounds like the million $ answer for most): There is a small switch where, when closing and securing the top, it triggers the flaps to close. Location: passenger side windshield frame. What to do (might move the seat back and stand up). Place your pinky finger pointing in toward the driver's side and you will feel a little metal switch. You should be able to lift this up and down with your finger. Get some electrical grease and coat the switch as best you can. The problem is that a great deal of road grime accumulates and covers the switch.

Assorted suggestions to disconnect the buzzer or electrical: All bad. These cars like most modern ones have computer checks that do NOT take well to any override.

Clean all the seat buckle connectors. The top has sensors for these too. Maybe has greese on it?
The dual key turn in the drivers door to unlock fixes alarm problems like this in many cars.

I cant trun my motor over by hand to put my torque bolts in but it wont turn

I've used a big, flat screwdriver to turn converter a few teeth at a time. Or use a breaker bar and socket on the balancer on the front of motor. Hope this helps.

Convertible top switch works sometimes but other times it does not work

If the convertible top switch not working properly every-time.Then the switch and its electrical connections/wirings needs to be checked. The switch is typically located in the trunk, positioned right beside the covering of the left or right tail light. The switch should be set to automatic, not manual. If the switch is properly set, then other things are causing the problem. The other things blocking the top to move up and down is its hinges. If the hinges are bent or cracked or got loose then this can be the other reason. If the hinges are in good condition, then check the convertible top struts. These are the mechanisms that lift the convertible top. Lift struts deteriorate due to wear and tear and will need to be replaced if it's the source of the problem. Another very common reason for a not working convertible top is the worn out elastic straps. Furthermore, the convertible top's fuse could be blown out and as a result it's causing the convertible top to stop working. In newer latest models the convertible top is controlled by a single button conveniently located next to the handbrake. You press a button to release a center locking device - none of this moving the sun visors out of the way and releasing two latches on other sides of the car stuff! - then twist the device with its conveniently large handle. Then you press the button, and if you're lucky, it'll work the first time. If not, try it again! The temperature display goes from blue to yellow and shows a "convertible top opening" graphic, and the top opens up and neatly folds itself in back. You can release the button when it beeps again. Putting it back on again is the same basic process, though you have to wait for the beep, then press the latch release, twist it, pull down, then re-twist the latch again. Thanks. you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

When i brake during theday dashboard screen goes out

That is actually very weird, I haven't seen anything like that before in all my years. Maybe some wiring inside your car is bad or loose. Or maybe the car was just made bad. In every 1000 cars, 1 truns out to be bad, and you could have that one bad one. But other than that, you should have a mechanic take a look at that, he might be ale to help.

Good Luck!
