Detached rubber pipe

FORD FIESTA 1.25 ZETEC, a small rubber pipe which appears to contain 2 thin wires has become detached from what looks like a plug. The rubber pipe is underneath the driver side to the front of the car. Any idea what this is?

It sounds like if attached to the exhaust a 02 sensor if not then it may go to a sensor to the transmission or it may be the engine temperature sensor

Water in passenger footwell of ford mondeo zetec 2001.

I had the same problem. Take note of black plastic trim piece that runs along the bottom of the windshield. On the passenger side there is a pan type attachment to this piece of trim; it can become detached from the trim. In this case it needs to be positioned under the lower lip of the windshield.
