I gave u advice to repair the hazard flasher for a ramdom clicking noise, that is incorrect, the root cause of the problem is the multifunction/turn signal switch, there was a recall on the flasher for your car and recommend you have GM do that, but that will not stop the clicking, go to the link I have provided and there u will find full instructions with picture's on how to replace the turn signal switch on the steering column.

Location of blinker relay

Hi Thomas, I'm glad to help! We change these all the time at the dealership, BUT, we also change the turn signal switch as well, because the problem could be either one of them and they are hard to get too. Below will be a removal procedure and a picture below that showing what it looks like. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Thomas.

The flasher is mounted to the back side of the multi-function switch. To gain access, the upper steering column cover must be removed (Refer to 23 - BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/STEERING COLUMN OPENING COVER - REMOVAL). The flasher can be removed by pulling it forward. The flasher is serviced separately from the multi-function switch. The flasher is black in color for ease of identification (COMBINATION FLASHER LOCATION).

Do the flashers work?

My '87's headlights would not work for some reason. And I noticed that the flashers did not work, and the flasher button did not flash. Upon replacing the fuses for the flashers, they worked fine.

Where do i change the flasher

this cars flasher is part of the hazard lights switch so in order to replace the flasher the switch must be replace. the flasher is built into that switch. this is a common problem with these switches, they where on back order from the factory, the dealer is the only place you can buy this flasher, good luck, hope this helps.

No brake lights or emergency flashers. Changed

Try adjusting the brake light switch on the brake pedal.

The flashers have a relay in the circuit, test it and see what you get . The flasher switch may be the culprit also. By pass the switch with a pair of jumper wires and see if flashers work.

How do i change the turn signal flasher on a 99 VW Passat and where is it located?

The flasher is part of the emergency flasher switch on the center dash board. You carefully have to pry out the switch, its just clipped in. It is quite long. I pulled out one of the blanks first so I could get behind and put the unit out. The whole switch/flasher needs to be replaced!

No brake/hazard lights,have running/turn signal lights

Suggest you change hazard flasher 'can' first, then go to the hazard switch. I'm betting it's the flasher can.

1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse flasher

Start by checking the fuses then move to the light bulbs. If those are ok check the flasher switch and then the turn signal switch. More than likely you will need to replace the flasher switch.
