You will need to open the steering column so you can remove the old module and replace it with a new on. Typically there are 4 screws to be removed to open the column then 2 to remove the switch and install the new switch.

Turn signal makes zzzzzzzzzzztttt sound and won't blink if turned all the way,I have to hold the lever halfway to get the blinker working. Is it the relay switch or the switch itself? Pls. help!

Sounds like the blinker unit is not fuctioning properly. It should be up under the dash, a little tin can. It is easy to fit a new one.

'94 Camry windshied defroster gets no air flow. When switch is moved,it doesn't change airflow-always comes out ot the ducts facing the passenger area(top ducts)only.

The problem concerning the no air flow out the defrost duct on my mom's 94 Toyota Camry is that the rod link from the electric actuator to the vent / defrost flap became disconnected way up under the center left side under the dash. I had to remove the lower air duct from under the steering column for access to use a 1 inch hole saw to make an access hole on the upper side of the case tube opening to see where the rod came off the lever. I went to the local Toyota dealer to try to buy a retainer clip but the part guy told me that it was only sold as a complete housing piece which was very expensive and involved removing a big portion of the dash pad assembly to replace the housing.
At this point , I plan on reconnecting the rod to the lever by simply installing a special washer style retainer on to the end of the rod to keep it connected. You might find a retainer like this one in a carberator repair kit.

The blinkers do not turn off automatically. Is

Inside the steering column, there will be a plastic like knob. This knob should be located right by the signal lever. It sounds like this knob has broken or worn down so that it doesn't snag the lever to cause it to turn off again. On some vehicles, the knob will be inside the lever assembly and this would mean that the entire signal arm will need to be changed. The arm should only be held in by 3 or 4 screws.

Fuel Door will not open

the cable from the lever to the door has broken. If you look inside the trunk, (sometimes you will have to pull the carpeted side down) right behind the gas door, you will find a short emergency release cable with a loop on the end - grab and pull the loop and your gas door should pop open.
