Yes ... you need a engine hoist, trans jack. Slide hammer or pry bar to pull the axles, The clutch should come with an alignment tool.

Air tools make this much fast, but it can be done in an afternoon, if you've done something like it before ... and get a good manual. Got to http://www.kiatechinfo.com and sign up ... all the info you need is there.

How to replace clutch step by step on a toyota rav4 4wd

You need some very specialized tools to do that You'll need a jack to hold the transfer case once you remove all the bolts holding it to the transmission. Remove the drive shafts. Then you'll need to remove the transmission, again with a supporting jack. Once that has been accomplished , remove the bolts holding the clutch to the flywheel. I'd replace the pilot bearing in the flywheel that holds the input shaft to the gearbox before proceeding. There are special tools available to do that. Now assemble the clutch disk and the clutch plate and put the bolts back in without tightening them. Now take the clutch alignment tool and push it thru the clutch disk and into the new pilot bearing. position it so the clutch disk is dead center in the clutch plate and then finish tightening the bolts Put a new throw out bearing on the clutch release lever and reinstall the transmission and transfer case. Reinstall the drive shafts and replace any gear oil that may have spilled out of the transmission or transfer case. Adjust the clutch pedal clearance to spec and you're done.

How do you replace the ac clutch on a 98 pontiac grand am gt 3.1

You unbolt the bolt holding it on, and use one special tool to pull the clutch, and two special tools to put the new one on. The tools are dedlcated for this job, and generic pullers will not work.

How to i change the bearing on the airconditioner

to change this bearing requires special mechanics tools. This job can quickly become a real pain if the bearing has been staked on. What level is your mechanical expertise? With all due respect if you do not have pullers and access to presses I would not try this project. At the minimum you will need snap ring pliars, a new bearing, a serpentine belt removal tool, a special puller and a press.
First remove the serpentine belt. In the center of the compressor pulley there may be a nut that needs removed, remove it. thread in the special pulley clutch removal tool as far as possible with the center bolt of the puller all the way out. With the tool threaded on tighten the center bolt on the tool until the pulley clutch comes off. this works best if you use an impact. now you should see the snap ring on the center hub. remove it. The hub with bearing should now slide off. If it doesnt you will have to use another special puller. Once you get that off you will have to have the bearing pressed out. Likely the outside race will be staked on. it helps if you can grind those off. A machine lathe works wonders for that job. Once the bearing is off put the new one on with the help of a press and a little locktite. You do not need to restake it as long as it fits plenty tight. the rest of the installation is pretty much the reverse of removal. The pulley clutch will need to be pulled on tight with a special tool with special attention given to the gap. You dont want it to touch but you want the clutch faces as close together as possible. good luck.

Clutch Adjustment

You could try bleeding the slave cylinder. But it is very difficult and may or may not work. You may want to take it to an independent shop or back to the dealer. A special tool is needed inorder to depress the slave cylinder to properly bleed the possible air out of the system. It's a less expensive thing to try before replacing the clutch assy.

Harmonic balancer for 1999 dodge ram 1500

well if i remember correctly that fan clutch is reverse threads so in other words to loosen it you'll have to turn your wrench clockwise. they do this cuz the rotation of the fan will tighten itself onto the water pump. anyway what i do is leave the serpentine belt on the the pulleys and that will kinda hold them steady whilst you put the "special" wrench on the clutch and pop it loose you'll prolly need a cheater bar to make things easier but not too much or you'll overcome the traction of the belt and it will just slip.
