Just gently push the metal plate to one side and the bulb will slip out of the hole on the plate

Hydraulic lifters on Porsche 996. Are sticking lifters a problems on the 996 3.6 engine ? Misfire at idle, coils or lifters. Any thoughts guys ?

You could put a tiny bit a Auto Matic Transmission fluid in the oil for about 10 miles and then replace the oil with a little thinner viscosity oil. for example if you use 20-50w change to 10-30w. If they continue to make noise, replace them. They should not be too expensive, though it is a Porsche, lol

Low beam bulb burned out how do you get to the bulb looks like we need to pull off the front wheel and go in from the bach

If your vehicle is a 911 993 variant (not the 996) then you need to open the front boot/luggage compartment - look inside and remove the front carpeting area from the velcro pads on whichever side the affected headlight is.Located to the front of the vehicle on both the left and right hand sides (inside the boot space) is a metal lever that is held in place by a plastic clip - if you rotate this lever it will free your headlight and allow you to remove it from the vehicle (the headlight plug connection is held in place inside the wing by a metal clip so don't worry about this) - you can then unclip the back of the light - change your bulb (H1's I believe) and then refitting is a reversal of removal - simply slide the light back into position until it slots home, the metal lever should rotate round once you do this and then bring the plastic clip back over the metal handle and refit the boot/luggage carpet. Hope that helps.
