Question about Chevrolet Suburban 1500
My s10 would'nt start unless I sprayed eather in the bowl. I changed fuel pump now it wont start at all.
Wait...What year is your vehicle? You do have injection? electric pump ? You have not run the pump while it's not in the tank I hope...without being submerged in fuel, the pump can and will quickly burn itself out.... You only grounded the black harness lead, correct? You did not ground the pump itself to the chassis?
If you have grounded the black ground lead and that gives you proper voltage, you can tie in a second ground connection to the harness to the chassis back near the tank. I'd connect it on the pump side of the connector.

Might have a clog somewhere in the lines or fuel bowls and jets might be bad
