I have a misfire in cylinders 2 and 3 in a 2008 Honda Accord 4 cyl. I have changed the ignition coils and spark plugs out. What else could it be?

It could be lots of things. Changing the coils and plugs isn't helpful unless the spark has also been checked.

Mostly a fault in the spark or fuel departments would switch on the engine check light and produce a fault code that could be helpful, though knowing this should not interfere with a basics first approach.

Personally, if I was investigating a misfire on two adjacent cylinders and found nothing immediately obvious I would check the compressions on those cylinders before I settled down to more in-depth checks.

09 honda accord check engine light and vsa light on change fuel pump spark plugs coil packs still still saying cylinder misfire

unless you pay attention to injector problem replacing plugs will not fix the fault
run the fault codes to find out why the VSA light is on and get the codes for the misfire

Is there an erg valve on a honda accord 2008 4 cyl

code p0300 refers to--random/multiple cylinder/s misfire detected...Causes---spark plugs---HT leads---injectors---ignition coils ---low compression ---wiring
code p0302 refers to cylinder 2 misfire detected Causes ---engine mechanical fault---wiring---ignition/fuel system ---ECT/MAF sensors ECM
code po303 refers to cylinder 3 misfire detected Causes Engine mechanical fault---wiring---ignition/ fuel system ---injector---ECT/MAF sensor ECM The common fault to all is the fuel/system ignition
I would have the injectors checked and have a pressure test done on the fuel manifold to check pump and fuel regulator valve.

Misfiring code po1399 cylinder 3 and 4

On most Honda's when you get a misfire happening across the whole engine like that there are a few likely issues. the ignition coil if it's a single coil style or the connector at the distributor. They also have some issues with EGR's and plugged ports which can mess with the fuel trim numbers. It's important to check the fuel pressure and if possible a timing offset spec from the scanner whenever you're dealing with misfires on any vehicles Honda or not and determine correct pressure and flow whenever possible.

Hope this helps.

I have s 1997 Honda accord that has the check engine light on. Had the codes read and it says there is a misfire in two of the cylinders. I replace plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. Stills has the problem. Not...

did you have the cods cleared ever ? or is it a misfire you can feel when the motor is on, if this is the case check the fuel injectors in those cylinders, this will toss a misfire code also

I have a 98 honda accord 5 spd it has a 4cyl motor vtech i just need to know how to fix a miss fire in cylinder 2 and wich one is cylinder 2

Cylinder #2 is the the second spark plug counting from the right to left.
EX.Below are spark plug on engine
engine
-------------------------------
' (oil cap) '
' (4) (3) (2) (1) '
'_________________'

Your misfire can be cause by couple of things but the cheapest way that you can try to fix your car is to do a tune up by replacing:
1)all spark plugs
2)do a oil change
3)spark plug wires
3)distributor cap and rotor

note misfire can be cause by:
1.bad gas
2.spark plug and/or wire
3.distributor cap and/or rotor
4.valve adjustment
5.injector
6.off timing
7.ECM
8.bad wiring(power, ground or feed line)

My 2000 honda accord lx's check engine light has been on but now it's blinking ever since my car started shaking really bad.

A blinking check engine light is a signal that a damaging misfire is occurring in one or more cylinders. Your car is shaking because of the uneven power loss between firing cylinders and those that are misfiring. If you take your car to a major auto parts store, they will read out the stored trouble codes in your car's computer memory--and they'll do it for free. These codes will tell you which cylinders are misfiring and will help you find out why. Do it soon before more engine damage occurs--$$$$.
