2004 dodge ram truck door lock will not open from the outside .Not with the keyless or manually sticking key in.Passenger door works fine.I dont know if something got shaken loose inside.Or if I have to mess with the door latch?????

2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT. Driver door is stuck locked. The lock moves but the door will not open. The passenger door lock works fine

There are rods inside the door one has disconnected will have to remove door panel to fix it.

Check your wiring. I know that these trucks have that problem mainly with the passenger side but I'm sure it could happen to the driver side as well. See what happens is they run the wiring through the door near the hinges and when you open/shut your door it wears the wiring causing it to short. My passenger side doesn't work with the passenger controls but will work on the master controls. I will be fixing mine here shortly.

I took my 2003 Dodge ram to a local dealer to repair the door locks they had it for three days and could not find the problem door locks dont work even when i use the key it only opens the diver door

The door locks in this truck are controled by a BCM,it controls the dome light and more parts inside the cabin.

My door lock button won't work, my keyless entry won't work, and when I use the key to try to open the door it won't even unlock the door (only on drivers door, the passenger door will open with key)....

Power locks and power mirrors dont work from the controls on the inside of the cab checked the all fuses all were good. the keyless entry remote locks the vehicle from outside but lock switch on both...

I am currently having the same problem with my 2004 Blazer, after a little research I am going to try replacing the engine compartment fuse *** suggested. I will let you know if tis works.

Key turns in manual door lock but doesn't unlock truck door

you need to remove the door panel....the linkage for the lock has come disconnected...it shouldnt be too hard to reconnect

You have to pull off the inner door panel and reattach the lock mechanism

what part comes off the lock itself because mine has done the same thing and i can not figure it out.

same here 2005 dodge ram 1500...door stuck in lock position, can use keypad, cnat pull it up manually, and cant use key form outside - it will only open from indie, and immeidately goes back down to lock postion when inner door handle is released...????
